A free one is enough. It needs no card, and it is the same account you would use for your own monitoring.

It is in your settings, under Affiliate, from the moment you sign up. Logos and banners are on the same page, sized for a blog post and served from our own site.
Share it
In a post, a README, a talk, an answer to somebody asking what to use. When a customer who followed it pays, 20% of that payment is yours.

The terms in short
Commission follows money that arrived. A signup that never pays earns nothing, and so does a trial, a free plan and an invoice settled with a credit note. What we pay on is what a customer actually paid, so a discount reduces the commission by the same proportion.
A commission becomes payable 30 days after the payment it came from, which is past the window in which that payment could still be refunded. If it is refunded or charged back inside that window, the commission goes with it.
Attribution is best effort, and we would rather say so than let you work it out later. Somebody who follows your link is remembered for 30 days, on that browser. If they clear the cookie, arrive on a different device, or follow another partner's link afterwards, we will not know they were yours. The last link followed is the one credited. Every programme works this way and most of them do not mention it.
What we ask
Do not bid on our name, do not run advertisements that use our name, logo or a domain resembling ours, and do not point paid search straight at us. We would be paying commission on traffic that was already coming. Coupon and deal sites need asking first. Referring yourself does not work, and that one is enforced rather than merely asked.
